Kiddar Capital to relocate HQ, but it’s not going far
Global asset management firm Kiddar Capital will relocate its headquarters within the city of Falls Church to a new mixed-use project it is co-developing with Insight Property Group, the company announced Monday.
Kiddar, currently headquartered in a 22,000-square-foot building at 100 N. Washington St., will take a majority of the 74,000-square-foot Class A office building to be developed on that same parcel. The latest renderings of the building show a large “Kiddar Capital” sign near the roof line.

West Chester approves new subdivision
A new 33-home subdivision is coming to West Chester, the Enquirer reports.
M/I Homes has received preliminary approval for a development on a 20-acre site on Tylersville Road east of Smith Road.
The subdivision known as Tylers Vista would include three- to four-bedroom homes ranging from 2,000 to 3,800 square feet with price tags from $450,000 to $550,000 on the site that now houses a single-family home and two buildings.

U.S. mortgage rates hold form
U.S. mortgage rates were essentially unchanged this week, according to Freddie Mac.
The 30-year fixed mortgage averaged 4.42 percent for the week ending April 12, up slightly from 4.4 percent the previous week. A year ago, mortgage rates stood at 4.08 percent.
Low mortgage rates have helped drive U.S. home sales, along with the refinance market.
