Those involved with the 15,000-seat, $375 million arena on the UT campus — which was developed and is run by OVG Oak View Group LLC — described its first year as a huge success. Starting with a John Mayer concert on April 20, 2022, the venue has featured the likes of Willie Nelson, the CMT Music Awards, the San Antonio Spurs, plus a six-day Harry Styles residency, bull-riding and plenty of college basketball.
