Moonraker Brewing Co. in Auburn ranked No. 7 overall in this year's U.S. Open Beer Championship, which was recently held in Oxford, Ohio. The overall award is based on Moonraker's number of winning entries in the competition, in which judges evaluated "more than 9,000 brews representing over 150 styles of beer," according to organizers. Moonraker is the only California brewery in the top 10.
