Tyler Benson, the co-founder and co-CEO of Smallman Galley, was named to Forbes' list of "30 under 30" for Food & Drink in 2019.
Benson founded Smallman Galley in the Strip District with Benjamin Mantica (who Forbes acknowledges by saying Mantica is over 30). The two had met in the Navy and found the galley of the ship — where food was cooked and served — was the best place to unwind. The duo brought that concept to Pittsburgh to create a food hall-centric restaurant group and incubator.
