RPS Financial Group Inc. acquired all the Northwestern Mutual offices in Arizona and New Mexico, along with one in El Paso, Texas, for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisition makes RPS Financial one of the largest life insurance companies in the nation. Owned by Managing Partner Phillip Sarnecki, the Leawood-based firm is an independent business affiliated with the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. It also has a wealth advisory business and a benefits group.
