Sean Sherman, the founder of the Tatanka food truck and the upcoming riverside restaurant The Sioux Chef, has been selected for the Leadership Award from the James Beard Foundation.
Minnesota Public Radio reports on Sherman's award — his second in the past year from the James Beard Foundation. His cookbook, “The Sioux Chef’s Indigenous Kitchen” (co-authored with food writer Beth Dooley) won a 2018 James Beard media award.
