A brewery and taproom in Rancho Cordova is adding a permanent food option for customers.
The locally owned Simarro BBQ will join the offerings at Ol' Republic Brewery's Rancho Cordova site, according to Justin Simarro, the eatery's founder and pitmaster.
The business will serve what Simarro calls "California barbecue," which he says is Texas barbecue with a Mexican flair. Expect menu options such as tacos, tortas and barbecue platters, Simarro said. This will be his first location.
