GrubHub accused of overcharging restaurants on phone call fees


GrubHub executives are defending the company against allegations that it has been overcharging its restaurant customers for years.

The Chicago-based food ordering and delivery company, which also owns Seamless, has been accused of charging restaurants fees of up to $9 for phone calls from customers, even if no order was placed, the New York Post reported. Grubhub is supposed to charge restaurants only for orders that it helps generate.
