Houston-based sushi kiosk supplier snapped up by UK company


SnowFox, a Houston-based company that operates over 700 sushi kiosks in grocery stores across the U.S., has been bought by Yo, a London-based company.

Yo acquired SnowFox for approximately $100 million, the Wall Street Journal reported. Combined, SnowFox and Yo are now worth around $400 million, including debt.

As part of the merger, a press release stated, Yo will partner further with both North American and U.K.-based grocery stores such as Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR), Loblaws Inc., Walmart Inc.…
