HCA Healthcare Inc. and McKesson Corporation are joining research forces.
The two health care giants have agreed to form a joint venture combining McKesson subsidiary US Oncology Research and HCA’s Sarah Cannon Research Institute, according to a news release.
Terms of the deal, which is expected to close this year, were not disclosed. Dallas-based McKesson will own 51% of the joint venture and possess operating control.
