Merriam City Council may delay vote on redevelopment plan for former Kmart site

Drake Development’s plan to repurpose the site near the busy interchange of Interstate 35/Shawnee Mission Parkway interchange has the approval of Merriam city planners. But the builder wants to delay the City Council vote for a couple of weeks.
