Local developer and NFL-player-turned-builder plan 290 apartments in fast-growing area near PTI

Smith Farm will be about one-half mile north of Lewiston Road's intersection with Fleming Road in northwest Greensboro. The project gained approval last month from the Greensboro Planning and Zoning Commission.
