U.S. Justice Department chicken price-fixing prosecution ends in Denver as the last case is dropped


Federal prosecutors want to dismiss charges against two execs from Greeley-based Pilgrim’s Pride Corp., ending the last attempt to prosecute poultry industry executives and companies on allegations of price-fixing in the multibillion-dollar broiler chicken market.
