The statewide measure that would set aside tax dollars and create more affordable housing has passed.
Colorado voters narrowly voted in favor of Proposition 123, which will take 0.1% of the state’s federal taxable income to create an affordable housing fund of about $300 million per year. The measure will lower Coloradans’ Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights refund each year.
