Kathy Wade has won a Governor’s Award for the Arts in Ohio, one of eight arts leaders to receive the award this year.
The Ohio Arts Council announced Jan. 24 that Wade, founder of Learning Through Art Inc., and a legendary jazz singer, is recognized in arts administration. It is the most prestigious recognition for the arts in Ohio, and the only award conferred by the governor.
