The Austin Business Journal list of new apartment projects tracks the number of units completed during 2022. The list is compiled in partnership with ApartmentTrends.com and Austin Investor Interests LLC who provide the data. Information encompasses the five county Austin area including: Travis, Hays, Williamson, Caldwell and Bastrop counties. Data is derived and verified directly from the source at the development and property level. For the year, ApartmentTrends.com reports 60 out of a 105 projects under construction during 2022 were delivered adding 15,612 units to the local market. According the the same report, there were total 459 projects in the pipeline that would add 127,051 units locally if all built.
