Despite struggles in recent years to build its workforce, the Ohio construction industry is seeing slightly higher employment numbers this spring.
The Associated General Contractors of America reported an increase in construction employment rates across 42 states and the District of Columbia within the past year. Additionally, 28 states added construction jobs between April and May of this year.
Ohio added 6,000 jobs within a month, the most the study saw from a state in an individual month.
