Mayo Clinic team is creating the future of precision treatments for Alzheimer’s disease


Dr. Nilüfer Ertekin-Taner is a neurogeneticist and behavioral neurologist at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Jacksonville. Her lab studies the genetic factors underlying Alzheimer's disease and related neurodegenerative conditions.

Ertekin-Taner is one of the co-principal investigators leading a program that earlier this year received a $41 million grant from the National Institute on Aging, part of the National Institutes of Health.
