HCDA board votes to approve new executive director


The Hawaii Community Development Authority board of directors on Wednesday voted to approve the appointment of Aedward Los Banos as executive director of the state agency responsible for overseeing development in Kakaako, Kalealoa and Heeia on Oahu.

Los Banos, who has worked for the agency for four years, most recently as administrative services officer, previously served as interim director of HCDA for nearly a year in later 2015 and 2016 until Jesse Souki was hired later that year. Souki resigned…
