After 36 years in Uptown, Vietnamese restaurant Kinhdo will close Sunday


It has been a tough year for the iconic Uptown Vietnamese restaurant, Kinhdo, which announced this week that its last day will be Sunday, April 30.

Last year, the owners’ son, Jonathan Rowe, started a GoFundMe page in February to help save the restaurant from unpaid back rent, which throughout its almost 4 decades of business, said it never had a problem with until the pandemic.
