Amazon has been knocked from its top spot as U.S. consumers’ preferred food retailer by San Antonio-based regional grocer H-E-B, according to the sixth annual Dunnhumby Retailer Preference Index (RPI).
Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN), which recently announced it would raise the minimum order requirement for free grocery delivery to its Prime members from $35 to $150, wound up in third place in behind Costco.
