Balenciaga drops lawsuit, apologizes for ads


Balenciaga has dropped a $25 million lawsuit against the production company that shot an ad campaign picturing a controversial document in the background, and both the CEO and creative director of the luxury fashion house apologized for a second campaign that showed children alongside handbags depicting teddy bears in bondage apparel.

Balenciaga president and CEO Cédric Charbit also outlined steps the luxury house will take going forward to prevent similar missteps.
