A Shelby County restaurant went out of business this week.
Bernie's on Main Street in Columbiana closed on Monday, April 16, according to the Shelby County Reporter.
"It was a difficult decision, but the right one. We’ve probably put it off for longer than we should have, in fact," wrote restaurant owners in a Facebook post. "We love you all. Columbiana is a very special place. You have a lot to be proud of."
The restaurant served new and traditional American cuisine.
