Bertucci's, the Massachusetts-based Italian-restaurant chain, is reportedly preparing to file for bankruptcy.
Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the matter, also reported that the Northborough company is lining up a buyer who would take control of the company.
The chain opened its first restaurant in Somerville's Davis Square in 1981 and operates 82 restaurants from New England to Virginia, "each reflecting the distinct character and local charm of their community," according to its website.…
