One of the Magic City’s most celebrated restaurants has landed another distinction.
In its “50 States, 50 Insanely Expensive Restaurants,” food website brand Chowhound named Highlands Bar and Grill Alabama’s priciest eatery where entrees do not generally go for less than $30.
“That may not seem much to city folk,” reads the Chowhound writeup, “but consider: the average yearly salary in Alabama is $43,170.”
