Bird scooters land in several Kansas City neighborhoods


A fleet of Birds has found its home in Kansas City.

You may have heard about these dock-free, electric scooters that have popping up in cities all over the country, but now you can try them for yourself.

The first time you ride you have to download the Bird app on your phone, enter your email address, scan your credit card and driver's license. After that, the process is much simpler — just open the app and scan the QR code on the scooter.
