Boston debuts program to fill empty storefronts, especially downtown


The Wu administration launched a grant program Monday to help put small businesses in vacant storefronts in downtown Boston and throughout the city. The goal is to use grants of up to $200,000 to fill ground-floor retail space and to diversify the types of business owners in those places.
