From three breweries in 1987, to now over 30 in 2022, Milwaukee's craft beer scene has grown, but there are gaps in the strength of that culture. Dubbed "Brew City," Milwaukee still lags behind other popular craft beer tourist destinations such as Denver or Chicago.
