Duncan Alexander, director of operations for the Rancho Cordova brewery, said interest in the positions was extensive. The brewery and tasting room will employ six people, in addition to its head brewer, Jason Williams.

Finalists announced for downtown business contest
Downtown Sacramento could see the addition of a high-end nail salon or a barbecue sauce vendor, depending on the outcome of this year’s Calling All Dreamers contest.
Five finalists were chosen by the Downtown Sacramento Foundation out of the 10 semifinalists in the annual business competition. Public voting, which is open until Aug. 20, will be used as a factor to help determine the final winner. Votes can be cast at https://callingalldreamers.org/.
