Los Angeles-based FAT Brands Inc. has completed the acquisition of Hurricane Grill & Wings for $12.5 million.

Hurricane Grill & Wings is based in West Palm Beach and has more than 50 franchise locations nationwide. Its new Los Angeles-based parent (Nasdaq: FAT) secured the deal for $8 million in cash and $4.5 million of preferred stock.
