The owners of popular Kauai food truck Roots in Culture are trading in their wheels to focus on their first storefront, Kiawe Roots, which will open this month at The Shops at Kukuiula in Poipu.

The new restaurant will be located in the space formerly occupied by Tortilla Republic, which recently consolidated its operations to its downstairs dining room and bar.

The space is meaningful for Kiawe Roots Chef Mark Ruiz, who led Tortilla Republic's Hawaii location in 2016.

One of Cincinnati’s largest music festivals has been drawing crowds to the banks of the Ohio River throughout the weekend.

The three-day Bunbury Music Festival, produced by Columbus-based PromoWest Productions, continues through June 3 at Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove in downtown Cincinnati.
