Cargill Inc. has teamed up with Nestlé to fund a grant program for farmers to scale sustainable ranching practices aimed to restore wildlife habitats and fight climate change.
The two food-industry giants announced Wednesday that they will invest a total of $15 million to the effort, which is referred to as the BeefUp Sustainability program.
