Food: Egg prices continue to rise, if you can find them
While inflation increases seem to be softening in a lot of areas, one commodity continues to soar.
Over the last year, egg prices have increased 60%, according to the Consumer Price Index. The average price for a dozen large eggs is $4.25, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, CBS reports.
Eggs (along with poultry) have seen increases over the past year mostly because of outbreaks worldwide of avian flu.

Red Robin to slow its Donatos additions in 2023 despite partnership’s success
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Inc. is going to add fewer Donatos this year than first planned, but that slow down isn’t a reflection on the pizza partnership.
The Colorado-based restaurant chain began teaming up with the Columbus pizzeria brand in 2018. Donatos is now sold alongside the Red Robin (Nasdaq: RRGB) menu in more than 200 locations.
Jason Rusk, Red Robin senior vice president of transformation and business development, said the partnership thus far is an unquestioned success.

Wendy’s CFO is leaving as the company changes its organizational structure
Wendy’s U.S. chief accounting officer and chief financial officer Leigh Burnside is leaving for another restaurant company as the restaurant chain redesigns its organizational structure to reduce general and administrative costs.
