Girl Diver owner nixes planned Summerhill restaurant amid recession fears
Richard Tang won't be pressing start on Georgia Avenue, after all.
The Atlanta restaurateur, who owns Girl Diver and Char Korean Bar & Grill, told Atlanta Business Chronicle he terminated his lease for a space in Summerhill, where he was going to open a restaurant and video game bar called Press Start. Tang said an impending recession was the primary reason for his decision.
“I'm a little bit concerned about the economy,” Tang said. “I'm concerned about the risk-reward.”
