The Rossi Kitchen & Bar at 895 N. High St. suffered an electrical fire that will keep the restaurant closed for the immediate future.

Owner George Tanchevski said he expects the restaurant to be closed for at least 30 days. Investigators are on site now to determine the exact cause of the blaze. It was not in the kitchen, but seems to have originated from one of the walls.

The damage to the restaurant is not yet known.

Bar Louie shuttered its doors in the Central West End in 2020. The co-owner of a restaurant that's moving into the space said the location is close enough to downtown for the restaurant to continue to play an active role in tourism while being in a more residential area.

The location is the 16th restaurant for Anchor Bar, which also has restaurants in Western New York, Texas, Maryland and Georgia.
