The Harbor Bank of Maryland is expanding into Montgomery County with a new loan office in downtown Silver Spring.
Minority-owned Harbor Bank has seven branches and a loan production office in Greater Baltimore and Prince George’s County. The Montgomery County loan office is located on the second floor at 1010 Wayne Ave., across the street from the soon-to-be-former Discovery headquarters.

Sky Harbor passenger numbers up ahead of busy holiday travel season
In a positive sign with the holiday travel and tourism seasons approaching, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport saw passenger numbers increase in October compared with the same month in 2017, according to data released Friday by the city of Phoenix Aviation Department.
The region’s main airport had 3,791,394 total passengers fly in or out during October, a 3.8 percent increase from the same month last year. Sky Harbor saw similar year-over-year passenger growth in September.
