Camber Creek has raised a second fund — here’s how much
Rockville-based venture firm Camber Creek has raised $30 million for its second fund.
The firm is headed by Managing Partner Casey Berman, also the president of operations at Rockville-based real estate and investment holding company Berman Holdings, which owns or operates more than 9 million square feet of real estate across the country. 4 Greater Cincinnati companies rank among Ohio’s top 10 financial advisory firms
Cincinnati is home to four of the top 10 financial advisory companies in Ohio, according to a new report.
Financial website SmartAsset’s list of top firms was arranged from the most assets under management to the least.
Johnson Investment Counsel Inc., located at 3777 West Fork Road in Monfort Heights, topped the list with $9.1 billion assets under management, which is nearly 2.5 times larger than the next firm on this list, MAI Capital Management LLC., based in Cleveland.

A few months ago, JPMorgan Chase revealed plans to open its first three retail branches in Greater Boston. It will be the first banking giant to start up retail operations locally since Citigroup did so a decade ago.

Harmon moves up a notch at Commerce Bank
Tom Harmon has been promoted to president of Commerce Bank of St. Louis, reporting to CEO Robert Holmes.
Harmon has been the bank’s executive vice president and chief operating officer of commercial banking in St. Louis for two years after joining from The PrivateBank and Trust Co. in 2015. Holmes and Harmon have worked together off and on for years, at the old LaSalle Bank, First Bank and PrivateBank.
