Chipotle Mexican Grill will open its first D.C. store located east of the Anacostia River, with a new location planned for the Shops at Park Village in Congress Heights.
Chipotle has leased 2,430 square feet of retail space in the shopping center that formerly housed Sun Trust Bank. The Giant-anchored center is also home to Subway, Pizza Boli’s, IHOP and a location of D.C. Public Library, among other stores.
