James Beard Award-winning chef Chris Shepherd opened his latest Houston restaurant, Georgia James, at the former location of Underbelly Oct. 11.
Georgia James is what Shepherd refers to as an unconventional, quality-driven steakhouse, according to the restaurant’s website.
Georgia James is named after Shepherd’s parents and is open Sunday to Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday to Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. at 1100 Westheimer Road in Montrose.
