Citing costs, University of Minnesota might sell president’s St. Paul mansion


The University of Minnesota is considering selling Eastcliff, the St. Paul mansion that houses the school's president, if it can’t come up with at least $15 million to support repairs and maintenance.

The residence has cost an annual average of $377,000 over the last decade, according to the Pioneer Press. A task force created by the U's Board of Regents recently said that the money could be used better elsewhere and recommended selling the property
