The Contemporary Arts Center has appointed a new top executive.
Christina Vassallo has been hired as the institution's Alice & Harris Weston director, assuming her new role in March 2023. She will replace Raphaela Platow, who departed in July 2021 to head the Speed Art Museum in Louisville. Vassallo’s appointment comes after a nationwide search led by Gale Beckett, CAC’s board president, in conjunction with search firm Koya Partners.
