The Austin Business Journal list of credit unions is open to any CU with branches in the Austin market. Overall membership and financials provided by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) as of March 31, 2023. Number of branches, local employees and top local executive are provided by credit union representatives and websites. Credit unions with additional branches or headquarters outside of the MSA, must provide ABJ with local deposits and local membership counts for the Austin area to be considered for the list. Austin area includes Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop and Caldwell counties.
