The highest-profile booster of Nashville's Antioch community is under contract to buy its former Hickory Hollow Mall.
Ben Freeland, owner of several auto dealerships, confirmed to the Business Journal on Monday afternoon that he is under contract to buy the heart of the former shopping center and some surrounding properties. Freeland declined to disclose the price of the deal, but said he aims to finalize the purchase "as quickly as possible."
