I always aspired to provide medical care to senior patients given their need for customized care, even before graduating from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Internal Medicine Residency program in 2009. While I have experienced a variety of ways to treat patients throughout my career, from hospitals to home-based care, I have found that the care team approach sets the bar high when it comes to providing benefits to senior patients as well as physicians.
