Edward Jones, UMSL take lead on project to target workforce diversity growth


The network’s members set a goal of increasing the amount they spend this year on payroll and procurement in the 22 ZIP codes by 10%. Payroll is for Black and Hispanic residents and procurement for businesses owned by people of color. If that goal is met, it would represent a projected $50 million increase in direct investment, said Stefani Weeden-Smith, director of the Anchor Action Network.
