The Covid-19 vaccine made by Cambridge's Moderna Inc. is one step closer to emergency use authorization for young children.
An advisory committee to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration unanimously endorsed the Moderna (Nasdaq: MRNA) shots on Wednesday, paving the way for the FDA and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to authorize them for use in the coming days. The FDA follows the recommendations of its committees in almost all instances.
