Former Waddell & Reed portfolio manager’s fund earns a five-star rating at new firm

After spending more than 18 years as a portfolio manager at Waddell & Reed, Matt Heckman is now running a fund strategy at Waterfront Asset Management in Overland Park that earned a five-star rating from Morningstar.
