The Ziegenfelder Co. – known for making colorful dessert pops that come on two sticks – was awarded $525,000 through the Texas Enterprise Fund, a state-administered program that provides "deal-closing grants" to out-of-state companies that create at least 75 jobs in urban areas and 25 jobs in rural areas.
