Charlotte-based AvidXchange Inc. announced plans Tuesday to bring more than 1,220 jobs to the region and expand its headquarters just north of uptown.
AvidXchange plans to invest a total of $41 million in the expansion project over the next five years. Average salary for the new jobs will be $68,569. The automatic payments company employs about 1,200 people, roughly 900 of whom are based in Charlotte.
