Cincinnati’s famous hippo is going to be celebrated in song.
The Cincinnati Pops will perform “Fiona’s Playlist” at the Lollipops Family Concert 10:30 a.m. Feb. 2 at Music Hall, 1241 Elm St., Over-the-Rhine.
The one-morning-only performance will be led by associate conductor Keitaro Harada and narrated by Thane Maynard, director of the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. Musical selections range from Camille Saint-Saëns’ “Carnival of the Animals” to Elton John’s “Circle of Life”…
